PivotPoint FAQ: How can I download Rhapsody free trial licenses?

IBM RATIONAL RHAPSODY – DOWNLOAD FREE TRIAL SW LICENSES FOR PIVOTPOINT TRAINING:

If you want to install free trial software licenses for your IBM RATIONAL RHAPSODY tool integrated training we recommend that you:

1. Register and download IBM Rational Rhapsody edition = Designer for Systems Engineers & version = 9.0.1, which includes SysML simulation for design validation support, from the following link:
   https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/downloads/r/rhapsodydeveloper/
2. Install the IBM RATIONAL RHAPSODY trial edition licenses as per download instructions.
   
   NOTES: If you seek to use RHAPSODY's Dynamic ModSim capabilities for SysML Behavior diagrams (STM, SEQ, ACT) download and install the CYGWIN Open Source C++ compiler tools for your OS, and install the following packages : gcc core, gcc-g++, make, and gdb.
   If you seek to use RHAPSODY's Mathematical (Parametric) ModSim capabilities for SysML Parametric diagrams download and install the MAXIMA Open Source Computer Algebra System for your OS.

IBM RATIONAL RHAPSODY – SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
Based on prior training experiences with IBM RATIONAL RHAPSODY we recommend the following system requirements for Training Room PC's:

• DISPLAY: 15.6" or larger / 1080P (1920x1080) resolution or higher
• CPU: Intel Core i7 (preferably Intel 7th Gen or higher)
• RAM: 16 GB or higher
• DISK: Fast HDD or SSD w/ 50GB+ disk space available
• OS: Windows 10

IBM RATIONAL RHAPSODY - LIVE VIRTUAL TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
If your IBM RATIONAL RHAPSODY modeling tool training is LIVE VIRTUAL TRAINING, you will likely require two displays or large windows (one to follow your Expert Instructor, the other to work with IBM RATIONAL RHAPSODY).
